Photography Time-Line

If you are planning to have your formal photography done before your ceremony, then here is the most important thing you can do to make your life easier and the rest of the wedding a breeze! Stick to a time line for your photography before the ceremony. Period. If your buddy John is late it makes everything else late from catering to venue rentals. Don't be looking at your watch every minute, but do ask a friend to keep an eye on the time and politely remind you, because you will be in a daze! I have this schedule and I stick to it with few exceptions. (Sometimes it's impossible, I know, but you do your best.)
Time-Line for Before the Ceremony Photography
2:45 Prior to Ceremony: Bride Preparation & Groom Preparation (30 mins)
2:15 Prior to Ceremony: First Look (15 mins)
2:00 Prior to Ceremony: Bride & Groom (30 mins)
1:30 Prior to Ceremony: Wedding Party (30 mins)
1:00 Prior to Ceremony: Family (30 mins)
0:30 Prior to Ceremony: (Pre-Ceremony)
When photography happens on time, you are more relaxed, take better pictures and have more fun throughout the rest of your wonderful day.
Happy Planning,
Adam

Thanks Shelby, this comes from my friend Tasha Owen, who is a very seasoned wedding photographer. I do limited weddings but find this schedule very helpful too.
